The DESTROOPER biscuiterie and the awards we received in the course of 125 years of passionate cookie baking:

  • Paris 1911, Golden Award for the “Almond Thins” on the International Food Show..
  • Gent 1922, another Golden Award for the “Almond Thins” at the Bakery Exhibition.
  • Brussels 1923, Destrooper is honoured with a diploma for the “Almond Thins” at the Bakery Exhibition.
  • Roeselare 1923, the Provincial Bakery Exhibition awards the “Almond Thins” and the “Butter Crisps” with a Medal of Honour.
  • Brussels 1925, at the Exhibition of Food Industry the “Almond Thins” is awarded with a Silver Medal.
  • Brussels 1927, Biscuiterie Jules Destrooper receives the Golden Medal for the “Almond Thins” at the Exhibition of Food Industry.
  • Brussels 1929, both the “Almond Thins” and the “Butter Crisps” are rewarded with the Golden Award at the Exhibition of Food Industry.
  • Brussels 1931, At the Exhibition of Food Industry, the “Almond Thins” and the “Butter Crisps” receive both the “Grand Prix” and the Golden Medal.
  • Brussels 1933, a Golden Medal for the “Almond Thins” and diploma of the first price with a Golden Medal for the “Butter Crisps” at the Food Show.
  • Kortrijk 1990, the “Florentines” are rewarded with the Golden Tavola at the Tavola Food Show.
  • Brussels 1996, Oscar for the Export of 1996 from the Belgian Department of Foreign Affairs.
  • Brussels 1999, Jules Destrooper is appointed by the Belgian Court to purvey to the Royal Household. We are convinced that foreign state leaders will enjoy our biscuits during their coffee table with the Belgian King and Queen.
  • Brussels 1999, the youngest pride of the Jules Destrooper group: a golden medal on the Food Show in Brussels for the perpetuation of the quality of our biscuits.
  • Brussels 2006, VLAM (oranization promoting Flemish agriculture, horticulture, fishery and the agro-alimentary sector in Belgium) rewarded the Jules Destrooper Butter Crisps with the official quality mark: "regional product from the Flemish Fields".
  • Brussels 2007-2008-2009, Jules Destrooper is crowned Trends Gazelles. Trends awards Jules Destrooper 3 consecutive years for being one of the fastest growing companies in West Flanders.
  • Roeselare 2009, the province of West Flanders and the Provincial Society for Social Economic Development (POM) appoint Jules Destrooper “Ambassador of West Flanders”.
